Assistant Principal Investigator

Joana Baço
Our Master's Student and Assistant Principal Investigator.

Joaninha A.K.A. Caldeira was born in Lisbon, got her high school diploma from Escola Secundária Professor Herculano de Carvalho in 2008, Joana Baço finished her undergraduate in Archaeology in 2011. She has worked in several land excavations and made her debew in nautical archaeology in Azores in AngraD CHAM’s project. She has worked in the Cascais Project and also in Patacho Pedro Dias Project in Martinhal. Currently she's working her thesis on the Anchors of Lagos and it is sponsored by Archaeological Association of the Algarve.
Her hobbies include books, music and her Girl-Scout duties.
